We built MyVox because we realized we had something unique to offer the development world: the ability to voice-enable any application, using the one piece of technology even your grandmother uses (the phone). What's more, we knew you could do a better job of using voice than us. Don't get us wrong - we've built some cool applications around phones and voice - but there are only so many of us, and a lot of you. We are firm believers in the power of tapping the community's imagination, and technical knowledge, and enterpreneurial spirit. So we took the work we've done on Web-to-phone(-to-Web) applications over the years, packaged them up into a set of flexible APIs, and, well, here we are.

We're here to help the world find and use the voice-enabled applications you develop too. That's why we have our gallery, where visitors who know nothing about app development can find and use all the MyVox-based applications that have been built. 

MyVox is a free service.  We keep it free with "in-call advertising" - short audio ads that play at the beginning of each call to MyVox.  Because we're a part of the first and best in-call advertising network, we're able to keep the ads short, sweet, and appropriate.  What's more, we know some of you aren't just looking to build applications, but also to make money from what you build.  If you generate enough calls with your application, you'll net yourself a share of the ad revenue.  Learn more about ads here.
