Q: In what formats can I get MyVox recordings?

A: MP3 and WAV. The WAV files are 8Khz 8-bit mono-channel mu-law files; the MP3s are 44.1Khz mono 96Kbit fixed-rate. Note that the WAV files are no lower in quality despite using a lower Khz, as the 8Khz is the native rate produced by the recording system. We upsample the MP3s for convenience to Flash developers, as Flash wants the 44.1Khz rate.
