Q.  What kinds of applications do you offer?

A.  Pretty much anything that connects phones with Web or mobile applications.  Most of our applications focus on voice recording, and incorporating voice into applications, but we offer things like conference calling apps and voice mail widgets as well.

Q.  What's the relationship between this site and the MyVox API?

A.  The MyVox API was developed to help developers incorporate phone-based functions into their applications without having to learn, host, or pay for phone technology and tolls.  MyVox Voice Apps showcase some of the best apps built with that API, along with applications developed with other people's technology.

Q.  So you don't have to use the MyVox API to show up here?

A.  Nope!  While we think our API is a great way to get a lot of things done quickly and without expense, it (gasp) isn't always the right solution for every application.  We want to show off the best that's out there, even if we didn't develop it ourselves.

Q.  Can I get my voice app up here?

A.  You bet.  Just send an email to nick AT voodoovox DOT com.  If it's a good application that stitches together phone and Web, by all means, we'll feature it.
